Healthy teeth are no coincidence – they are the result of good preventive care.

Healthy teeth start with good preventive care
Regular preventive care is one of the most effective ways to keep teeth and gums healthy in the long term. Even with careful dental care at home, deposits form in areas that are difficult to reach with a toothbrush.
With professional teeth cleaning, we remove hard and soft deposits thoroughly and gently. At the same time, we help significantly reduce the risk of tooth decay and periodontitis and preserve your natural tooth structure in the long term.
Why is professional teeth cleaning beneficial?
Bacterial deposits form every day. If they are not completely removed, they can promote gum inflammation, tooth decay or periodontitis.
Regular professional teeth cleaning supports your at-home oral hygiene and helps to
- prevent tooth decay
- reduce gum inflammation
- remove discolouration
- prevent bad breath
- preserve your natural tooth structure for as long as possible.
Who is professional teeth cleaning suitable for?
Regular preventive care is generally recommended for teenagers and adults.
It is particularly beneficial for
- an increased risk of tooth decay
- sensitive gums
- periodontitis
- implants
- crowns and bridges
- fixed braces
- diabetes
- pregnancy
We will be happy to advise you individually on how often professional teeth cleaning is recommended for you.
How the treatment works
During professional teeth cleaning, we first carefully remove hard and soft deposits as well as tartar from all tooth surfaces and between the teeth.
The teeth are then gently polished. This makes new deposits adhere much less easily to the tooth surfaces.
Finally, a fluoride treatment provides additional protection for the enamel and strengthens the teeth over the long term.
The treatment is gentle, thorough and tailored to your oral health.
